How to check your Chile application
Visa or prior-authorisation requests handled by Chile’s consular system.

Open official service ↗Step-by-step instructions
- Open the Ministry of Foreign Affairs consular-services portal.
- Select Ver estado solicitud de visa o autorización previa, meaning check the status of a visa or prior-authorisation request.
- Use the existing application information requested by that screen and read the result or further-action instructions.
Choose the correct application type
The consular portal directs longer-stay matters to the National Migration Service. Use the system where your actual application was lodged.
Information to keep ready
Keep your application acknowledgement, submission date, visa category and the name of the submitting office available. The official service determines which identifiers are required. Enter personal information only in that service; VisaWand does not need your passport number, login password or application reference.
If the record cannot be found
Compare the service and reference with your receipt and check the fields requested on the official screen. A technical error or missing result does not establish a decision. Follow the handling office’s help instructions if the record still cannot be retrieved.
After an update or decision
Read the actual notice and any document request, collection instruction or deadline. Passport movement, the validity of an issued permission and progress of a pending application are separate checks. Use the decision notice to confirm the outcome and next action.

Travel-advice references provide entry and consular context. They do not supply a private application result, and nationality-specific entry advice must not be applied to every passport.
