How to check your China application

Applications submitted through a Chinese Visa Application Service Center; select the actual centre used.

Step-by-step instructions

1. Open the official Chinese Visa Application Service Center website and choose the centre where you submitted your application.
2. Sign in to your account and use My Account, Track your application, Application Progress Inquiry or the corresponding Personal Center option shown by that centre.
3. Read the application progress and the centre’s instructions. Online review of a form, physical passport submission and passport return are separate stages.

Choose the correct application type

If your application was submitted through an embassy or a different authorised channel, use that office’s receipt and instructions. A verification service for an already issued visa may not show a pending application.

Information to keep ready

Keep your application acknowledgement, submission date, visa category and the name of the submitting office available. The official service determines which identifiers are required. Enter personal information only in that service; VisaWand does not need your passport number, login password or application reference.

If the record cannot be found

Compare the service and reference with your receipt and check the fields requested on the official screen. A technical error or missing result does not establish a decision. Follow the handling office’s help instructions if the record still cannot be retrieved.

After an update or decision

Read the actual notice and any document request, collection instruction or deadline. Passport movement, the validity of an issued permission and progress of a pending application are separate checks. Use the decision notice to confirm the outcome and next action.
