How to check your Czechia application
Applications within the Czech Interior Ministry’s status service, particularly long-term visa and residence cases.
Czech Ministry of Interior application status

Open official service ↗Step-by-step instructions
- Open the official Information Portal for Foreigners status page.
- Choose the type of case and enter the application or case information requested on that official screen.
- Read the result. For a short-stay Schengen application, use the Czech mission or visa centre’s own instructions instead of assuming the long-term tracker covers it.
Choose the correct application type
A formal request for information on a residence proceeding is a separate procedure described by the Interior Ministry.
Information to keep ready
Keep your application acknowledgement, submission date, visa category and the name of the submitting office available. The official service determines which identifiers are required. Enter personal information only in that service; VisaWand does not need your passport number, login password or application reference.
If the record cannot be found
Compare the service and reference with your receipt and check the fields requested on the official screen. A technical error or missing result does not establish a decision. Follow the handling office’s help instructions if the record still cannot be retrieved.
After an update or decision
Read the actual notice and any document request, collection instruction or deadline. Passport movement, the validity of an issued permission and progress of a pending application are separate checks. Use the decision notice to confirm the outcome and next action.
