How to check your Denmark application
Residence cases and online visa invitations covered by the Danish self-service pages.
Step-by-step instructions
- Open My Page on New to Denmark and choose the service matching your case.
- Use the required personal authentication to access Status of my case or the relevant invitation service.
- For a short-stay visa submitted to a mission or application centre, follow the separate short-stay guidance and your submission receipt.
Choose the correct application type
An online visa invitation is not the same as a visa application or decision. My Page describes the particular residence and invitation records it covers.
Information to keep ready
Keep your application acknowledgement, submission date, visa category and the name of the submitting office available. The official service determines which identifiers are required. Enter personal information only in that service; VisaWand does not need your passport number, login password or application reference.
If the record cannot be found
Compare the service and reference with your receipt and check the fields requested on the official screen. A technical error or missing result does not establish a decision. Follow the handling office’s help instructions if the record still cannot be retrieved.
After an update or decision
Read the actual notice and any document request, collection instruction or deadline. Passport movement, the validity of an issued permission and progress of a pending application are separate checks. Use the decision notice to confirm the outcome and next action.

Travel-advice references provide entry and consular context. They do not supply a private application result, and nationality-specific entry advice must not be applied to every passport.
