How to check your Ireland application
Irish visa applications, using the decision information for the office that handles the application.

Open official service ↗Step-by-step instructions
- Locate your visa application number and identify the Irish visa office processing the case.
- Open the official visa decisions page. Use its decision table or the link to your processing office’s decision information.
- Search for your application number. If the case is not listed, read the office’s current processing information and enquiry rules rather than inferring a refusal.
Choose the correct application type
A published list records decisions within its own office and reporting scope; absence from one list is not a decision.
Information to keep ready
Keep your application acknowledgement, submission date, visa category and the name of the submitting office available. The official service determines which identifiers are required. Enter personal information only in that service; VisaWand does not need your passport number, login password or application reference.
If the record cannot be found
Compare the service and reference with your receipt and check the fields requested on the official screen. A technical error or missing result does not establish a decision. Follow the handling office’s help instructions if the record still cannot be retrieved.
After an update or decision
Read the actual notice and any document request, collection instruction or deadline. Passport movement, the validity of an issued permission and progress of a pending application are separate checks. Use the decision notice to confirm the outcome and next action.
