Service feedback rather than a new visa route
Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada issued a notice on 7 October 2026 about an October client experience survey for Ukrainian temporary residents. People who applied under the Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel, along with other randomly selected Ukrainian clients, may receive an email invitation.
The survey seeks feedback on arriving in Canada or extending a stay under measures for Ukrainians. Participation is voluntary and confidential. IRCC states that choosing whether to take part will not affect past, current or future immigration applications. The notice does not announce a new residence pathway or extend immigration status.
Checking the invitation
IRCC says invitations come from [email protected] and the survey address begins with https://ircc.qualtrics.com/jfe/form. Completion is expected to take 15 to 20 minutes. The questionnaire is offered in English, French, Ukrainian and Russian. These details give recipients a starting point for checking an unexpected invitation.
Keep immigration deadlines separate
VisaWand recommends keeping a survey invitation apart from application correspondence and maintaining a separate calendar for permit expiry dates or evidence deadlines. A request for feedback should never be mistaken for a decision on an application. If an email seems unusual, compare it with the notice reached through the official government website before taking action. These are editorial handling suggestions; they do not change the terms of the survey.
